Rally Cap

tap tap...Hello? Is this thing on?
It looks like everyone who was participating in this thing has mysteriously disappeared. Steve sent out a message asking for word count, and Bazin mentioned on Facebook that he was quitting, but no one else has been seen or heard from in over a week. If it's because of word count, you're certainly not alone, but I'm going to pull from baseball superstition and start a miraculous comeback.
I'm going to post my word count and my words per day needed to finish here on a daily basis until I reach 50,000.

I sent my word count to Steve, but he didn't post any of them. My current word count is: 21,757... Not quite on track to finish, but I'm working on it.
I LOVE THE RALLY CAP.

No I won't back down....
Yes I won't back down...

No word-count from Steve means that Steve has fallen behind and is embarrassed at how poorly he's doing. It happens every year.
Think, when he's a lawyer he'll do the same thing when the case isn't going well.
I should be able to write this thing at work. I have 8 hours of night shift from Monday to Friday and not a lot to do. It's not working though.
15,000 words by Monday at midnight, that's what I need to do. But given last weekend's outstanding productivity (a couple hundred words) I'm skeptical.

Keep doubting me. Keep doubting...
I'm looking forward to my $10.
