Alright, so Steve has already told me that he doesn't think I'll be able to finish the novel. I'm at around 7000 words right now. What do you guys think (keeping in mind the fact that I have a pair of jobs)?

I think you need to finish it just to shut him the fuck up.
That being said, I hate my novel so much right now that I'm unsure if I can finish it. Well see, If I've hit 25 000 by the end of the week, then I'll keep going.
Dude, I'm at over 28,000 words and have no job, and I don't even think I'M going to finish.
Note: You will have to write 4000 words a day for the rest of the month to make it. Can you do that or at least have one or two "super" days (like 10 000 words)? If the answer is no, then drop out or set yourself another goal, like 30 000 words.
I think tomorrow could be my 10 000 word day.
